BREACHES OF BY-LAYS BY PEDESTRIANS That pedestrians should be forced to abide by the traffic regulations and by-laws drawn up for their own safety was urged by several members at a meeting of the Automobile Association (Southland) last night. It was pointed out that motorists and cyclists were fined for breaches of the regulations, whereas pedestrians were seldom warned or prosecuted. It was decided that representations be made to the South. Island Motor Union.
