R.S.A. CRITICISM OF GOVERNMENT
CONSCIENTIOUS OBJECTORS DISCUSSED (PA.) DUNEDIN, September 23. At a special meeting of the Returned Soldiers’ Association some criticism of the Government took place. One member said: “If conscientious objectors get away with it we know what will happen. It will be the same as last time and the objectors of that time are running the country today.” * A voice: Put them out! Another voice: Who put them in? The chairman explained that conscientious objectors would be discussed at the annual conference of the New Zealand Returned Soldiers’ Association.
