Paterson, M. N. Liddle, G. T. Rapley; in front-P. A. E. Hampton, B. K. Kirkcaldie, G. R. Marriott. W. E. Ruff, formerly of Invercargill, was a member of the Southland Rugby team which won the Ranfurly Shield from Otago at Dunedin in 1937.
