SUICIDE OF HESS’S FRIEND
(Rec. 7.30 p.m.) MOSCOW, July 29. The Moscow radio announced that Dr Karl Haushofer, the German geographer, who was a friend of Rudolf Hess, committed suicide in a concentration camp in Bavaria, where he was interned after Hess’s flight.
