MARIST DEBATING CLUB
“That money is the cause of the breakdown in our economic system” was the subject of a debate conducted by the Marist Debating Club last night. The speakers in their arguments covered all aspects and revealed an intimate knowledge of the subject. After an interesting debate the judge (Mr M. Fenton) awarded the decision to the negative side led by Mr E. Shea. Mr G. Meffin was the leader of the affirmative side.
