ELECTION FOR HIGH SCHOOLS BOARD In the election of two parents’ representatives on the Southland High Schools Board, Mr R. M. Strang, who has been a member for many years and chairman for 14 years, lost his seat. Mr E. H. Smith, a new candidate, topped the poll and Mr W. H. Gregory, a sitting member, was returned.
