BISCUIT INDUSTRY ORDER

(P.A.) WELLINGTON, July 10. The Biscuit Industry Labour Legislation Suspension Order 1941 (No. 2), Gazetted tonight, provides for an extension of the hours of work of women and boys employed in the biscuit industry on other than shift work, subject to agreement between the local union and the employers. The previous order made a similar provision in respect of women and boys employed on shift work. The present order is effective from July 7.
