MENACE TO BIRD LIFE
“There is no argument that wild cats take a heavy toll of bird life in the bush,” said Dr A. F. Ritchie Crawford at the meeting of the council of the Southland Acclimatization Society last night when the question of instituting a campaign for the destruction of vermin was being discussed.
