Changeable And Showery (Special) WELLINGTON, June 12. Following is the special weather forecast for Southland issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington:— The wind temporarily fresh to strong south-westerly; later moderate westerly or north-westerly. The weather changeable with a showery period, but fair intervals later; temperatures cool. Cold weather was experienced in Invercargill yesterday. There was bright sunshine for a period in the morning, but from about noon onwards the sky became overcast. There was a northeasterly wind during the day. At 1 o’clock this morning the weather was cold and light rain was falling. The barometer reading was 29.20 in (falling).
