POST OFFICE AT GUMMIES BUSH CLOSED The post office at Gummies Bush was closed permanently on May 17 because of the extension of rural delivery services into the district. The postmaster was Mr W. B. Hopcroft, who occupied the position for nearly 36 years. He was appointed postmaster on October 1, 1905.
