FIRST MEETING OF NEW DIRECTORS

CALEDONIAN SOCIETY At the first meeting of the new directors of the Southland Caledonian Society Mr Ellis Sutton presided. Mr A. St. C. MacGregor was elected chairman of committees, Mr M. C. Wilson was reappointed secretary, and Mr I. D. McKenzie was appointed treasurer. It was stated that an attempt should be made to organize some entertain—ment for patriotic funds as it was too early to discuss what the prospects would be for the next athletic meeting. It was also decided that members would not be eligible to vote unless the subscription for the current year had been paid.
