WAR PRISONERS BEING SENT TO AUSTRALIA
(8.0.W.) RUGBY, May 24. The Hon. P. C. Spender, Australian Minister for the Army, announced that a large number of German and Italian prisoners of war captured by Australian Imperial and British forces in the Middle East will arrive in Australia soon and will be held there for the remainder of the war.
