THROUGH EXPRESS LATE
The express from Christchurch arrived in Invercargill last night at 10.30, one hour and 25 minutes late. The delay was caused by the late arrival of the inter-island ferry steamer at Lyttelton. The express did not leave Christchurch until 10 o’clock yesterday morning instead of the scheduled time of departure, 8.35.
