COLAC BAY

PATRIOTIC CARNIVAL At a well attended meeting of the Colac Patriotic Committee it was decided to hold a carnival during June for the purpose of raising funds for the all purposes appeal. It is proposed to run the carnival for two nights and to hold a sports gathering on the Saturday afternoon. A committee has been formed and the programme will shortly be available. One of the features will be wood chopping and sawing competitions.

A community sing held in Colac last week netted a sum of £l3/6/6 which has been paid in to the local Patriotic Fund.
