SAN FRANCISCO-SINGAPORE AIR SERVICE
(P.A.) AUCKLAND, May 2. Made possible by the increasing commercial and military co-operation of the British, Dutch and American Governments, the inauguration of a fortnightly service from San Francisco to Singapore was announced today by Mr P. S. Delaney, South Pacific traffic manager of Pan-American Airways. At present Pan-American Airways clippers span the North Pacific from San Francisco to Hong Kong once a week. The regular service starts on May 20.
