MORE CANADIANS IN BRITAIN
(8.0.W.) RUGBY, April 29. A new contingent of Canadian troops j which arrived in England recently is | the. largest and most completely I equipped yet sent from the Dominion. llt comprises infantry, artillery, armI oured. corps, ordnance and road coni struction groups, in addition to a num- | ber of general reinforcements, including doctors, dentists and chaplains. The armoured corps group is made up or officers and non-commissioned officers who will train with the British armoured.divisions and the Royal Tank Corps and then will instruct their own men in mechanized warfare. The road construction company has arrived fully equipped with steam rollers, caterpillar tractors, cement-mixers and other equipment ready to start work on roadbuilding or repairing. The gunners, after training with the base units, will go to artillery regiments in the field to man anti-tank and anti-aircraft guns. The men are in great spirits.
