COMBINED SCOUTS’ CARNIVAL Keen competition and exciting finishes were seen at the combined Scouts’ swimming carnival at the Tepid Baths last evening. There was a big attendance of Scouts. Most points were gained by the Jellicoe Sea Scouts with 65, St. Mary’s Boy Scouts were second with 40 and the Southern Cross Scouts third with 35.

During the evening two novelty events, a mannequin parade and King Neptune’s Court, were presented and provided much amusement. In the detailed results the following abbreviations are used: Jellicoe sea Scouts (J.S.S), St. Mary’s Boy Scouts (St.M.), Southern Cross (S.C.), St. Paul’g l (St.P.), Gladstone (G.), Bluff Sea Scouts (8.5.5.), Southern Cross Georgetown (S.C.G.).
