COST OF BUILDINGS IN SOUTH ISLAND
Tire cost of the miscellaneous buildings for linen flax factories in the South Island is given in a list of tenders accepted by the Public Works Department. The prices of the factory buildings and the successful tenderers were: Oxford—W. Williamson Construction Company, Ltd., £5386. Leeston —J. Calder, £2985. Methven —P. Graham and Son, Ltd., £3738.
Washdyke—D. R. T. Hall, £3073. Makikihi—W. Williamson, Ltd., £7449.
Winton —Love Construction Co., Ltd., £3565/
Balclutha —R. Mitchell and Son, Ltd., £2314.
