WITHDRAWAL FROM GREECE.—Many of tho British and Imperial troops who fought so gallantly in Greece have now left the country. The have increased their hold on the Aegean Sea by occupying the islands of Sa mothrace, Lemnos, Mitylene and Chios. The occupation of Samothrace and Lemnos enables them to dominate traffic through the Dardanelles and by taking Mitylene and Chios they have placed themselves in a position to control traffic to Smyrna, Turkey’s principal port in Asia Minor.
