DRAW FOR WOMEN’S MATCH The following is the draw for a bogey match to be played at Queen’s Park at 9 a.m. today: Miss Deegan v. Miss Morton; Miss Cutt v. Miss Fraser; Miss Jones v. Miss Curtis; Miss Shand v. Miss Winton; Miss Melville v. Miss Thompson; Miss Harvey v. Miss Mahoney. WOMEN’S MATCH AT BLUFF The draw for a women’s golf match at Bluff today is as follows:—Miss Wishart and Mrs Waitiri; Miss Fletcher and Miss Macdonald; Miss Schofield and Miss Casey; Mrs McQuarrie and Mrs Moir; Mrs Newman and Miss McKillop. A mistake was accidentally made in last week’s scores. Mrs Waitiri’s score should have read 53-14-39. INVERCARGILL LADIES’ CLUB The following were the best scores returned in the monthly L.G.U. medal match played in conjunction with a

sealed hole match by members of the Invercargill Ladies’ Golf Club at Otatara on Thursday:—Miss C. Smith, 85-3-82: Mrs C. C. Anderson, 103-19-84; Mrs Girdwood, 111-23-88. i The best cards returned in the sealed hole match were as follows:—Mrs C. C. Anderson, 52-9>-42£; Miss C. Smith, 45-14-434; Mrs A. C. Ford, 54-94-444; Mrs Girdwood, 57-ll£-45J. WINTON CLUB A Stableford match marked the opening of the Winton Golf Club’s competitions. The links were in fair- order and low scores were returned. The best were: N. G. Pigou 34-4-38; P. Boylen 27-11-38; J. de la Perrelle 22-13-35. The next match for the men will be played on Saturday, May 3.
