ALLIED POSITION REVIEWED

(Rec. 10 p.m.) WASHINGTON, April 24. President Roosevelt summoned a “War Cabinet” consisting of Mr Cordell Hull, Colonel Frank Knox, Mr 11. L. Stimson, Mr Henry Morgenthau and Mr Harry L. Hopkins, providing the first opportunity foi a full dress review of the Allied position in Greece and questions of the next steps for ensuring supplies for Britain. The meeting lasted an hour and a-half. It is believed that tonight’s speeches by Colonel Knox and Mr Hull indicate the results. As the Cabinet met reports were circulating in some congressional circles that 40 per cent, of American supplies to Britain were at present being sunk.
