FLYING INSTRUCTOR REPRIMANDED

(United Press Association) NEW PLYMOUTH, February 16. The decision of the court martial which tried Flying Officer C. Parker, instructor at No. 2 Elementary Flying Training School, on charges arising from a fatal accident at Bell Block aerodrome on December 6, was announced by the Air Department. Flying Officer Parker was charged, first, with neglect in flying and causing loss of life, and second, with an act. of flying causing loss of life and, third, with causing damage to one of his Majesty’s aircraft. He was found not guilty on the first and third charges, and on the second charge he was found guilty and was severely reprimanded.
