OBITUARY
COUNTESS RUSSELL (Received February 10, 5.30 p.m.) CHARLESTON, February 9. The death is announced of Elizabeth Mary, Countess Russell, the authoress, aged 76. Countess Russell was the wife of the second Earl Russell, who died in 1931. She wrote numerous books, but her first, “Elizabeth and Her German Garden,” published in 1898, remained one of her most popular.
