RESERVED DECISION The Magistrate gave his reserved decision in the case in which Thomas Felix McNamee, of Garston (Mr A. L. Dolamore) proceeded against Andrew , Dodds, of Chatton (Mr John Tait) on a claim for £52/2/- as damages result- | ing from a collision between the plain- | tiff’s car and the defendant’s car at Gore. The Magistrate said that the claim was brought following a collision at a T corner, formed by Ardwick and Irwell streets, between the plaintiff’s and defendant’s cars. The corner was a bad one and the Magistrate had inspected it. He accepted the plaintiff’s evidence and said that the defendant’s evidence proved his own negligence. The defendant had said that he did not see the plaintiff until he reached the corner. This showed that he had not been keeping a proper look out. He also showed lack of control of his car. According to his own evidence he I hesitated at the corner, leading the I plaintiff to believe that he was stop- I ping. He did not stop however, and I this led the plaintiff into a trap. I Judgment was entered for the plaintiff for £53/9/6, costs £lO/7/-.
