DIXIE CLIPPER MAKES RECORD FLIGHT
(Received February 9, 7.30 p.m.) MIAMI, February 8. Pan-American Airways announced that the Dixie Clipper, with Mr Wendell Willkie aboard, landed at Port of Spain at 9.51 a.m., thus completing the 3120 miles non-stop flight from Bolam in 21 hours 32 minutes. This is the longest non-stop flight ever made by a commercial plane.
