WOMEN'S DIVISION
North Invercargill,— The monthly meeting was held recently in the North Invercargill Hall. Mrs Matheson presided over a good attendance and welcomed four new members. An invitation was received asking members and friends to join in a country people’s group travel tour from Invercargill to the West Coast Glaciers from March 6 to 15. The demonstration for the afternoon was a display of numerous articles made by the arts and crafts circle. The roll-call was a Christmas experience. Competitions resulted: Biscuits, Mrs Pedlar 1, Mrs Pocknell 2, Mrs Harper and Mrs Dawson 3, equal. Best bloom: Mrs Ross 1, Mrs Hartwell and Mrs Matheson 2, equal, Mrs Delamere 3. Hostesses were Mrs Hartwell and Mrs Delamere.
