AMERICAN “EAGLES” IN NEW FILMS
A theme in which there has been more than normal interest in Hollywood involves American pilots with the Royal Ah- Force. A month ago Walter Wanger disclosed plans for “Eagle Squadron” to be directed by William Wellman. Then Fox announced “The Eagle Flies Again” for Henry Fonda and Don Ameche. Warners have a story called “Night Hawks” which deals with the aviators. That studio managed to contribute to the confusion already felt by Wanger and Fox by calling the picture “Eagle Squadron,” but when it was learned that the title had been registered, “Night Hawks” was substituted.
