MEN NOT RE-ENGAGED AUCKLAND, January 13. A decision to recommend to the men involved in the cool stores dispute that they should declare the dispute off was made on Saturday at a meeting of the Auckland District Executive of the New Zealand Freezing Workers’ and Related Trades Union. The men met subsequently at the Trades Hall and debate the recommendation. The voting in favour of adopting the recommendation was practically unanimous. It was distinctly stated at the meeting that a large number of the men would be re-employed.
