EMPIRE TRAINING SCHEME IN CANADA (United Press Association) WELLINGTON, November 1. The Minister of Defence (the Hon. F. Jones) has been advised of plans by the National Council cf the Canadian Y.W.C.A. to provide suitable hospitality and entertainment for students at Empire training schools during their periods of leave from camp, including the opportunity of meeting Canadian people in their own homes.
