Potato Growers

The potato growers have been brought into a Dominion-wide standardization scheme, and it is understood that they will be affected by regulations which are to be gazetted dealing with the potato-growing industry. In effect, growers will be required to grade and ticket their potatoes for the market. As a result of this action the need has grown for an organization bringing all growers together. To give effect to this need tentative proposals have been put forward for the Farmers’ Union to form a potato growers’ section. Accordingly the position is being explored;
