SOLDIERS NOT SERIOUSLY ILL (United Press Association) WELLINGTON, September 21. In a statement today the Minister of Defence (the Hon. F. Jones) intimates chat unless* a soldier is placed on the seriously ill or dangerously ill list no notification is sent to Base Records in New Zealand. Instances had occurred of relations hearing that men have been in hospital for various-periods of time without their having been notified, hence the explanation.
