OBITUARY

MR A. A. TRINDER

Mr C. M. Turrell, director and general manager of the New Zealand Shipping Company, Ltd., has received cabled advice that Mr Arnold Anderson Trinder, principal of Trinder, Anderson and Co., shipbrokers, London, died of heart failure in London on September 17. Mr Trinder was well known as one of the ablest shipping men in London. He was on the London board of directors of the New Zealand Shipping Co. Ltd., and the Federal Steam Navigation Co., Ltd. He was also London chairman of Elder Smith and Co., Ltd., a director of the Australind Steam Shipping Co., Ltd., and of the Transpacific Passenger Agency, Ltd.
