CLIPPER’S FLIGHT TO SAN FRANCISCO

(United Press Association) AUCKLAND, August 22. On her return flight to America the Pan American Airways California Clipper arrived at Honolulu at 3.25 a.m. today, Auckland time. Her crossing to San Francisco will be made tonight and she will arrive at her home base tomorrow morning. AOTEAROA LEAVES TODAY (United Press Association) AUCKLAND, August 22. The Tasman Empire Airways flyingboat Aotearoa, commanded by Captain Oscar Garden, is to leave Auckland at 6 a.m. tomorrow for Sydney after a postponement of 24 hours. She is due to return according to her normal schedule on Sunday afternoon. In addition to a large quantity of mail and freight the flying-boat has 10 passenger bookings.
