HITLER SHORTENS SHIRTS

CLAIMS BIG SAVING It’s not so long ago that Hitler decreed that all men’s shirts should be cut down in length by an inch or two. We forget just what national saving was claimed but we do know of a much more worthwhile saving men can make on shirts (and other things) commencing next Wednesday. £l5OO DUNEDIN MEN’S OUTFITTER’S STOCKS FOR INVERCARGILL. H. & J. Smith Ltd. have purchased the complete £l5OO high grade men’s wear stocks of Sydney Ronald, George Street, Dunedin and preparations are now proceeding apace for the sale next Wednesday. Prices everywhere are soaring steeply as a result of the war but in this event, not all, but many items will be half price. The stocks are particularly high quality and absolutely new and clean.—Advt.
