ESCAPE FROM CUSTODY

(United Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 18. Thomas William Hill, who had pleaded guilty to escaping from custody and breaking, entering and theft, was sentenced to 12 months’ hard labour on the latter charge and three months’ hard labour on the former charge, the sentences to be cumulative, but concurrent with the existing sentence.
