DARK HORSE (Conical Hills).— There has been no change in the price of bread for several years. Perhaps the extra sixpence was charged for delivery.
M.A.F.—The Labour Department states that the new award provides that if two vats are in continuous use for a period of more than 40 days in a season the factory must be classed as a two-vat factory and the workers paid accordingly. If you require further particulars you should apply to the department.
