OBITUARY

MR J. McLAUCHLAN

The death occurred recently of Mr John McLauchlan, youngest son of the late Mr and Mrs James McLauchlan, of Greenhills. Mr McLauchlan, whose death took place at his residence, Musselburgh Rise, Dunedin, was a former resident of Southland. He was born at Greenhills 63 years ago and married Miss Elizabeth Adams, a teacher - at the Greenhills school. He undertook contract work in Southland with his brother and later lived at Birchwood and Wingatui. Later he moved to Dunedin where, with a partner, he opened one of the first petrol service stations in the city. Mr McLauchlan is survived by his wife and a daughter, Mrs R. Ratcliff, Dunedin.
