Mr and Mrs R. McKinlay, Dunedin, are the guests of Mr and Mi’s E. S. Macfarlane, Balaclava street. Misses R. Frame and M. McMillan, Mimihau, are on holiday at Dunback and Dunedin. Mr and Mrs A. Coleman and her son, Geraldine, are visiting Mrs Coleman, Balaclava street. Denise Horne, “Cotswold,” Titipua, was the successful ticket holder in the pony raffle conducted by the Wyndham Patriotic Committee, the net proceeds of which were £33/1/6. WINTON Miss H. Damill, of Invercargill, spent the week-end with her parents, Mr and Mrs J. T. Damill, Prince street. Miss M. Hughes, of Taramoa, is the guest of her mother, Mrs H. Taylor, Great North road. Miss Joan Wood, Park street, has returned from an extended holiday in Auckland. Mrs W. Swale, of Limehills, leaves this week-end to spend a holiday in Christchurch and Hanmer. Mr and Mrs H. Lilico have returned from their honeymoon, and have taken up residence in Great North road. Mr and Mrs J. de la Perrelle, Park
street, were visitors to Gore for the week-end. Mrs Cochrane, of Orepuki, has returned home after spending a holiday with Mrs H. Cochrane, New road. Mrs H. E. Denny, Arthur street, spent a few days at Fortrose, recently. Miss M. O’Neil, of Gore, has returned home after spending a holiday with Miss K. Boyle, Meldrum street. Misses I. and M. Lindsay, of Invercargill, spent the week-end_ with their parents, Mr and Mrs G. Lindsay, Park street. OHAI Miss Anita King, of Timaru, is at present the guest of Mrs Robert Adcock, jun. . , , Miss Phyllis Mclntosh, Christchurch, is visiting her parents, Mr and Mrs D. Mclntosh, Ohai. Miss Mavis Raper, of Dunedin, is the guest of her sister, Mrs J. H. Lowrey, Ohai. Mrs T. Hartwell, Invercargill, is at present visting Mrs W. M. Davies, Ohai. Miss Jean Mosley, Invercargill, paid a visit to her parents, Mr and Mrs J. T. Mosley, during the week. Miss Helen Wilson, Invercargill, is visiting Ohai. Mrs D. Young, Dunedin, was a recent visitor to Ohai, as the guest of her parents, Mr and Mrs A H. Guthry. Mr and Mrs W. D. Morrison are spending a holiday in Christchurch.
