RED CROSS BALL AT HERIOT

The Red Cross Appeal Ball held by the Heriot young people in the Heriot hall on Wednesday evening, was a most successful dance. Messrs I. McLennan and S. McKenzie were masters of ceremonies. The hall was decorated in red and white with a large Red Cross in the centre.

The “lucky spot” waltz was won by Miss Sharp and Mr G. Adams. Mr F. Davis won the box of chocolates presented by Mrs Sim. There was a large attendance, all the surrounding districts being well represented, and the secretaries of the young people’s committee will be able to hand over a considerable sum of money for this Red Cross appeal.
