PATRIOTIC WORK The third local effort for patriotic funds is now under way and it is expected that as a result of direct donations the work of collectors will be reduced to a minimum, and that by each householder and wage-earner giving according to his means, the total for Winton will run well into four figures. In addition to the splendid donation of £lOO by the Winton Trotting Club, many other citizens have made generous donations.
