PATRIOTIC EFFORT AT MOUNT LINTON

On a recent evening, the residents and employees of Mount Linton Station and residents of Birchwood, held a dance in the Mount Linton woolshed. A large crowd attended from all the surrounding districts and the particularly well-organized evening resulted in approximately £62 being raised. The success of the evening was largely due to the Mount Linton residents and employees, who had contributed a good deal of effort to the venture. Mr R. Allan acted as master of ceremonies.
