GIFT TO PATRIOTIC FUND

TE RANGI LADIES’ BOWLING CLUB The Te Rangi Ladies’ Bowling Club decided at its annual meeting to give £2O/2/6 to the Patriotic Fund. Mrs Streatfield presided at the meeting. The annual report and balancesheet were adopted. The election of officers resulted as follows: President, Mrs Gordon; vice-presidents, Mesdames Holloway and Fraser; secretary and treasurer, Mrs Brown (re-elected); delegate and deputy delegate to the association, Mesdames Steel and Brown.

The members were entertained to afternoon tea by the retiring president, Mrs Streatfield, after the meeting.
