EXPORT LEVY ON HIDES REDUCED
(United Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 28.
The Hides Committee announces a further deduction in the export levy on hides. The new rates are:—Ox, cow, bull and yearlings, sixteenth of a penny a pound; calfskins, other than freezers, a farthing. These rates apply to hides loaded on an overseas steamer on or after June 29.
