N.Z. POSTAL AGENCY AT PITCAIRN ISLAND
(United Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 28.
The New Zealand postal agency at Pitcairn Island will be closed on October 14 next, according to an announcement today by the Post and Telegraph Department. On October 15 the Pitcairn Island Post Office will come under the control of the High Commissioner for the Western Pacific and the issue of postage stamps will be made available from that date.
