Hindu’s Hospital Gifts
A Hindu who was very grateful for help received from the mission hospital of the New Zealand Presbyterian Church at Jagadhri, in the Punjab, recently made a gift to the hospital of two private rooms. At the formal opening ceremony of these rooms, conducted by the District Commissioner, the donor was so impressed by the work of the hospital that he made an offer to provide a new eight-bed men’s ward. The missions committee in Auckland immediately cabled gratefully accepting this further gift.
