PORT CLOSED FOR SHORT TIME
(United Press Association) AUCKLAND, June 13. The port of Auckland was closed at 5 o’clock this afternoon and all shipping was at a standstill until shortly before 9 o’clock. The sailing of two harbour vessels was held up. The Auckland naval control authorities stated that the reason was to enable exercises to be carried out. On the completion of the exercises the traffic of shipping was resumed.
