SUM OF £13,000 COLLECTED
Southland Patriotic Fund GOOD RESPONSE BY RURAL DISTRICTS Contributions to the Southland Provincial Patriotic Fund are coming to hand steadily and up to yesterday the total was £13,000. Of that-amount about £3OOO was subscribed within the last seven or eight days. Referring to the fund at the .luncheon of the Invercargill Rotary Club yesterday Mr W. Grieve, chairman of the Invercargill Metropolitan Patriotic Committee, said that the country committees had been very active and good results had been obtained. Most of the contributions were straight-out donations. ' . The following additional contributions are acknowledged by the treasurer of
