BRITANNIA BEATS ALL SAINTS The Britannia Badminton Club beat All Saints by seven games and 16 sets to five games and 13 sets in a match which was played last night in the Southland Badminton Association’s A grade competition. Results, with Britannia names first, were as follows: — Men’s Doubles.—’Challis and Shand beat Hannay and Richardson, 15-12, 15-9; Gimblett and Wilson beat Dillon and Braithwaite, 15-8, 15-5; Currie and Scott lost to Mitchell and Smith, 14-17, 8-15. Women’s Doubles.—Mrs Salisbury and Miss Stead beat Mrs Dillon and Mrs Braithwaite, 15-2, 15-3; Miss Frazer and Mrs Blackie beat Misses Basstian and Hallamore, 5-15, 15-1, 18-13; Misses Wood and Mowat beat Misses Ferguson and Marshall, 15-0, 15-7.
