COAL PRODUCTION IN NEW ZEALAND
(United Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 17. The Minister of Mines (the Hon. P. C. Webb) announced that at a conference of coal mine owners and coal workers it was decided to convey to the Government their mutual pledge to co-operate with the ■ Government and each other for the duration of the war so that the full coal requirements of the Dominion could be produced as far as practicable without delay or interruption. _
