PRESENTATIONS AT QUEENSTOWN

Before her departure for Wellington to take up a position, Miss D, Harris was the recipient of several small presentations from various clubs of which she was a member. Mr C. M. Inglis, on behalf of the badminton club, presented Miss Harris with a bedroom clock and a set of bridge cards. The Rovers’ Basketball Club, of which Miss Harris was a leading member, presented her with a travelling rug, Dr Anderson making the presentation. , , The members of St. Peter s Girls Club and several friends were entertained by Miss L. A. White at a tea and picture party in honour of Miss Harris, when a small presentation was made.
